Most owners we talk to don't want another app to learn. They want someone to just do it. So we built one.
Meet Wick, a small lantern who lives inside Porchlight. You talk to Wick in plain words, and Wick does the work. You can watch every step, and undo anything you don't like.
It sets you up while you grab a coffee
When you start with Porchlight, Wick asks one question: do you want to do this yourself, or should Wick handle it?
Pick "Do it for me" and Wick reads your website, answers the setup questions and picks the styles that suit your business. It tells you why as it goes: "Your site leads with your phone number, so posts will ask people to call." You can take over at any point.
It swipes your deck for you
Every Porchlight post waits in a deck until you keep it or pass on it. Now you can say "swipe through my deck for me" and watch Wick do it.
Wick looks at each post, the words and the picture, and keeps the ones that fit your business best. It passes the weak ones, and when a post has a good idea but the logo is hard to read or the picture is off, it redesigns it instead of throwing it away.
Just ask
A few things owners are already asking Wick:
- "Create 5 posts about our winter offer and schedule them."
- "Move everything to mornings, our customers scroll before work."
- "The logo is hard to see on this carousel, fix it."
- "How many credits do I have left this month?"
- "We're closed on the 24th, don't post that day."
Wick floats in the corner of every page, so you never have to go looking for it.
You stay in charge
Anything that uses your monthly posts, like keeping ten posts at once, waits for your OK. Removing a business asks twice. Everything else has an Undo button. Wick only works inside your Porchlight account. It can't see passwords or cards, and it never posts anything you haven't kept.
Who gets Wick
Wick comes with the Starter, Pro and Agency plans. If you're on Free, you'll still see Wick's tips while you set up, and you can upgrade any time to hand it the work.
See the plans or start with your website. Then pour that coffee.
